These independent midwives are providing a service to women in the South West of Australia who are considering a home birth or a hospital birth with a nominated midwife. This ensures continuity of care for the woman during her pregnancy, birth and postnatal period.
The area of the south west is vast and so far women from Waroona to Augusta and inland as far as Bridgetown have utilised this service.
